SOE Info from their keynote Oct 18th

I nerded out tonight and watched the SOE(Sony Online Entertainment) keynote.  Here a couple of the things I thought were pretty cool.

• PlayerStudio = players can create furniture using 3d studio like tools .  Submission pages opens on Oct 19 and creators get payed 40% for each item sold.
• Krono -Fully tradeable, fully resaleable in-game item. Add 30 days of premium membership time to an account.character. Bought or sold freely between players for in-game currency. First to EQ2. Later to other games. October 29th.  This is awesome!    I can pay my subscription with in game currency, hard to argue with this.
• LiveStreaming in all SOE games coming soon
• Wizardry Online – perma death in a mmo  Beta starts soon
• DC Universe Online DLC coming -Lairs system — housing system, Lair Battles – PvP/Duels
• New EQ2 Expansion coming Nov 19
• SOE Partners with Runewaker – Runes of Magic and upcoming Dragons Prophet(2013)
• Planetside 2 looks very good. Release Date – Nov 20th

PlanetSide 2 is looking pretty good

I had no interest in this game until I saw this trailer!   I am assuming this will be Free to Play like all SOE Stuff
