Super Adventure Box – GW2

I saw this and thought it was typical April 1st internet BS.  I logged into Guild Wars 2 and actually played in these levels.  Its kinda nuts that they built an 8bit world and put it up for a month.  There are a bunch of achievements tied to it so I may see how many I can get..

Splanic Brackets 2013 Day 6. It was a good run Gulf Coast

The Sweet 16 has completed.   Florida,Duke, Louisville and Michigan move on.  The only upset was Kansas losing to Michigan.  I was really pulling for Floridia Gulf coast but they did not have enough to win….

Splanic Brackets 2013 Day 5. Brackets Crumbling

Syracuse over Indiana and Marquette over Miami,  The first positive night for the BigEast.   This destroyed some brackets.

The breakdown

Splanic Hall of Fame Page Started – Need Help

I have been working on the Hall of Fame page but I need some help.  If you can remember any challenges that were won please let me know.  This can be be any online challenge or the games at our parties.   I know Brian has won every cornhole but I am not sure of the  years or partners.   If you can remember runners up that would be good as well.   Post on the google+ link for this topic if you can think of anything.  You can check the link to the new Hall of Fame Page above.    I am sure there are some topics deep in the old message board that can help fill in the blanks.   Thanks in advance.

Splanic Brackets 2013 Day 3. Down goes the first 1 Seed

That didn’t take long to see Gonzaga fall from a number 1.   Everything else was pretty much expected yesterday.    LLToddJ takes the lead after three days of basketball.   I was a little surprised by Marquette over Butler.    A bunch of us had Gonzaga falling to Pitt yesterday but what about Wichita State….

• The only person to have Wichita State winning over Gonzaga was Tyler
• Only Arlyln has Gonzaga winning it all

Splanic Brackets 2013 Day 2.. It Hurts a little

Well some great upsets today made it for a fun day of basketball.  The only thing that was sad was UC’s loss….   Oh well next year will be good.   3/4 5 vs 12 were won by the 12,  I would hate to draw a five in the future.  For the second year in a row a 2 goes down to a 15.

Splanic Brackets 2013 Day 1.. Harvard?

Day one has completed with some great basketball.   We almost watched number 1 Gonzaga fall to a 16,    this has to happen in the next couple years.    A great come from behind win by Marquette.   The tournament favorite New Mexico falling to Harvard.      I will try to post some stats each day.

• 1 person picked Harvard over New Mexico. That was Tyler who picked by the teams thumbnail.
• 4 people got 13/16 correct. Qwestlove80, Nbolser, Basaladking, and Bpjmcg.
• 1 person lost there overall winner(New Mexico). That was Allison

Every year there is at least one 5/12 upset, yesterday there were two…
